Crispy Portuguese Skillet
A delicious and easy-to-make dish featuring crispy-skinned chicken and a creamy sauce. Perfect for a weeknight dinner.

- β1/2 cup portuguese cream
- β skilletfor cooking
- β magnificently crispfor serving
- β2 tablespoons olive oil
- β2 cloves garlic
- β1/4 cup chicken broth
- βto taste salt

1. Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

2. Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper.

3. Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.

4. Sear the chicken breast for 2-3 minutes on each side.

5. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and cook for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.

6. While the chicken is cooking, make the creamy sauce by whisking together the portuguese cream and chicken broth in a small bowl.

7. Remove the skillet from the oven and brush the chicken with the creamy sauce.

8. Return the skillet to the oven and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce is bubbly and slightly caramelized.
