Croatian Carnaroli Risotto
A traditional Croatian recipe using high-quality Carnaroli rice for a creamy and flavorful risotto.
Ingredients
- ●250g Carnaroli rice
- ●25g Dense Croatian rice
- ●4 tablespoons Olive oil
- ●1 medium Onionchopped
- ●3 cloves Garlicminced
- ●250ml White wine

Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.

Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.

Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Add the Carnaroli rice and stir to coat with oil and mix with onion and garlic.

Add the white wine and stir until the wine is fully absorbed.

Add 250ml of hot water and stir until the water is fully absorbed. Repeat this process for 15-20 minutes, or until the rice is cooked.

Stir in 25g of dense Croatian rice for added texture.

Season with salt to taste.
