Turkish-Style Lamb Pide
A delicious and authentic Turkish dish featuring tender lamb and crispy pide bread, served with a side of fresh herbs and spices.
Ingredients
- β1.5 pounds Lamb shoulder
- β1 bunch Fresh parsley
- β2 teaspoons Mild red pepper flakes
- β3 cloves Garlic
- β1/4 cup Olive oilfor brushing pide
- β1 teaspoon Salt
- β1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
- β1 package Turkish pide dough
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Roll out the pide dough to a thickness of 1/4 inch.

Cut the lamb shoulder into 1-inch cubes and season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.

In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat.

Add the lamb cubes and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.

Transfer the lamb to a baking sheet and set aside.

Place the pide dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Brush the dough with olive oil and sprinkle with minced garlic.

Bake the pide in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.

While the pide is baking, heat the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
