Slovakian-Italian Takrai Chicken Bowl
A fusion of Slovakian and Italian flavors with the exotic taste of takrai. A perfect dish for adventurous foodies. Pair it with a glass of white wine for a delightful evening.

- β1 lb Slovakian chickenBoneless, skinless
- β1 stalk LemongrassChopped
- β1/4 cup Fresh parsleyChopped
- β2 tbsp Olive oilFor cooking
- β1 clove GarlicMinced
- β1 tsp SaltFor seasoning
- β1 tsp Black pepperFor seasoning
- β1 BowlLarge, for serving

Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic, salt, and black pepper.

Rub the mixture all over the chicken, making sure to coat it evenly.

Place the chicken in a large bowl and bake for 25-30 minutes or until cooked through.

While the chicken is baking, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the chopped lemongrass and cook for 2-3 minutes or until fragrant.

Add the chopped takrai and cook for another 2-3 minutes or until softened.

Stir in chopped parsley and season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Once the chicken is done, let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing it thinly.
