Matcha Beef Tibs
A twist on the traditional Ethiopian dish, with a hint of green tea from the matcha powder. This recipe combines the savory flavors of beef with the nutty taste of matcha.
Ingredients
- β1 lb 1 lb beef (sirloin or ribeye)
- β2 tsp 2 tsp matcha powder
- β2 tbsp 2 tbsp olive oil
- β1 onion 1 onion, chopped
- β2 cloves 2 cloves garlic, minced
- β1 tsp 1 tsp ground cumin
- β1 tsp 1 tsp ground coriander
- β0.5 tsp 1/2 tsp salt
- β0.25 tsp 1/4 tsp black pepper

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute.

Add the ground cumin, coriander, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 1 minute.
