Korean Beef Bowl
A flavorful and spicy Korean-inspired beef bowl with marinated beef, kimchi, and a fried egg.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Beef (ground)
- β2 teaspoons Korean chili flakes
- β2 tablespoons Brown sugar
- β2 tablespoons Gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- β2 tablespoons Soy sauce
- β2 tablespoons Rice vinegar
- β2 cloves Garlic
- β1/4 cup Green onions
- β1 cup Kimchi
- β2 Eggs
- β1 cup Cooked white rice

In a large bowl, combine the beef, Korean chili flakes, brown sugar, gochujang, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and garlic. Mix well to combine.

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the beef to marinate.

Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Remove the beef from the marinade and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.

Add the kimchi to the skillet and cook until it starts to caramelize.

Push the kimchi to one side of the skillet.

Crack an egg into the other side of the skillet and cook until the whites are set and the yolks are cooked to your desired doneness.

Serve the beef and kimchi over cooked white rice in a bowl.

Top with a fried egg and garnish with green onions.
