German Suet Dumplings
A hearty German dish featuring pan-fried dumplings filled with a creamy mixture of suet and herbs.
Ingredients
- β250g Suet
- β500g All-purpose flour
- β200ml Milk
- β2 Eggs
- β1 tsp Mellow
- β1 tsp Salt
- β1 tsp Chinese parsley
- β12 Dumpling wrappers

In a large bowl, combine suet, flour, milk, eggs, mellow, salt and Chinese parsley. Mix well to form a dough.

Knead the dough for 5 minutes until smooth.

Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces.

Roll out each piece into a thin circle.

Place a dumpling wrapper in the center of each circle.

Fold the dough over the wrapper and press the edges together to seal.

Heat a large pan with oil over medium heat.

Add the dumplings to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
