Mellow Roasted Lamb
A flavorful and tender lamb dish with a hint of mellow spice, perfect for a special occasion.
Ingredients
- ●1.5kg Lamb shoulder
- ●2 tbsp Mellow spice blendAvailable at most spice stores
- ●3 cloves Roasted garlicRoast at 400°F for 30 minutes
- ●2 tbsp Portuguese olive oil
- ●1 tsp Salt
- ●1 tsp Black pepper

Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).

Season the lamb with salt and black pepper.

Heat the olive oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Sear the lamb until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.

Transfer the lamb to a plate and set aside.

Add the mellow spice blend to the pot and cook for 1 minute.

Add the roasted garlic to the pot and cook for 1 minute.

Return the lamb to the pot and cover with a lid.

Transfer the pot to the preheated oven and roast for 2-3 hours, or until the lamb is tender.
