Greek Beef Loukoumades
A twist on traditional Greek doughnuts, these savory loukoumades are filled with a rich beef and kidney mixture.
Ingredients
- β1 cup mellow greek yogurt
- β1 tsp smoky paprika
- β1 lb beefground
- β1/2 cup kidneychopped
- β1 package loukoumades mix
- β2 tbsp olive oil
- βto taste salt
- βto taste black pepper

Preheat oil in a deep frying pan to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

In a large bowl, combine beef, kidney, and smoky paprika. Mix well.

Using the loukoumades mix, form dough into small balls and flatten slightly.

Add a small spoonful of the beef mixture to the center of each dough ball.

Seal the dough by folding it over and pressing edges together.

Fry the loukoumades in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Drain on paper towels and serve hot with a side of mellow Greek yogurt.
