Thai Chicken Crumble Dumplings
A unique fusion of Chinese dumplings filled with a mixture of chicken, falafel, and Thai spices, topped with a crumbly mixture for a crunchy texture.
Ingredients
- β20-24 pieces Wonton wrappers
- β1 pound Boneless, skinless chicken breastcut into small pieces
- β1/2 cup Falafel mix
- β2 tablespoons Thai red curry paste
- β2 tablespoons Soy sauce
- β1 tablespoon Sesame oil
- β1/4 cup Crumbled falafelfor topping
- β2 tablespoons Cornstarch
- β2 tablespoons Water
- βto taste Salt
- β1 tablespoon Sugar
- βchopped Scallionsfor garnish

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine chicken, falafel mix, Thai red curry paste, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well.

2. Lay a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Place a small amount of the chicken mixture in the center of the wrapper.

3. Brush the edges of the wrapper with water.

4. Fold the wrapper into a triangle by bringing the two opposite corners together to form a point.

5. Press the edges together to seal the dumpling.

6. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.

7. In a large skillet or wok, heat 2 tablespoons of oil over medium-high heat.

8. When the oil is hot, add the dumplings and cook until the bottoms are golden brown.

9. Add enough water to cover the dumplings and bring to a boil.

10. Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until the dumplings are cooked through.

11. In a small bowl, mix together cornstarch and water until smooth.

12. Stir the cornstarch mixture into the dumpling broth and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
