French Khao Bean Casserole
A hearty, garlicky French-inspired casserole made with tender beans and a rich, savory sauce, served with a side of crusty bread.
Ingredients

- β1 cup fermented beanscooked
- β1 cup black beanscooked
- β2 tablespoons soichopped fresh cilantro
- β3 cloves mild garlicminced
- β2 tablespoons mildolive oil
- β1 teaspoon garlickyminced garlic powder

Preheat the oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.

Add the cooked beans, khao, and soi to the pan.

Stir to combine and cook for 2-3 minutes, until the ingredients are well coated.

Transfer the mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish.

In a small bowl, mix together the minced garlic powder and a pinch of salt.

Sprinkle the garlic powder mixture evenly over the top of the casserole.

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.

Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes, until the top is golden brown and the casserole is hot and bubbly.
