German Almond Apple Strudel
A classic German dessert with a delicious combination of apples, almonds, and spices. Perfect for a warm evening or as a snack.

- β1 cup sugar
- β2 eggs
- β2 granny smith apples
- β1 cup almondschopped
- β1 tsp vanilla extract
- β1/2 tsp cinnamon

In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.

Add melted butter and mix until a dough forms.

Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth.

Roll out the dough to a thickness of 1/4 inch.

In a separate bowl, mix sliced apples, chopped almonds, and vanilla extract.

Spread the apple mixture onto one half of the dough, leaving a 1/2 inch border.

Fold the other half of the dough over the apple mixture and press edges to seal.
