Saudi Arabian Beef Dumplings
A flavorful and spicy dish from Saudi Arabia, made with tender beef and served with crispy fried dumplings.

- β1 medium Onionfinely chopped
- β2 inches Gingergrated
- β3 cloves Garlicminced
- β2 cups Beef Brothlow sodium
- β2 tablespoons All-Purpose Flourfor dusting
- β1 large Eggbeaten
- β1 teaspoon Saltto taste
- β1/2 teaspoon Black Pepperto taste
- β1/4 cup Almondchopped, for garnish

In a large pan, heat 2 tablespoons of oil over medium heat.

Add the onion, ginger, and garlic. Cook until the onion is translucent.

Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.

Add the beef broth and bring to a simmer.

Reduce heat to low and let cook for 10 minutes.

While the beef is cooking, mix the flour and egg in a bowl.

Add the beaten egg and flour mixture to the beef and stir until combined.

Cover and cook for an additional 5 minutes.

While the beef is cooking, prepare the dumpling dough by mixing the flour and egg in a bowl.

Knead the dough for 5 minutes until it becomes smooth.

Divide the dough into small pieces and roll out each piece into a thin circle.

Heat 2-3 inches of oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat.
