Steamed Xiaolongbao with Mildly Sour Dipping Sauce
A traditional Chinese soup dumpling recipe filled with pork and served with a mildly sour dipping sauce. This dish is a variation of the classic Xiaolongbao from the Jiangsu province.
Ingredients
- β1 block, drained and crumbled Tofu
- β12-16 dumplings Xiaolongbao
- β1 cup Sour dough flour
- β1/4 cup Mildly sour vinegar
- β2 tablespoons Soy sauce
- β2 tablespoons Sugar
- β1 bunch, chopped Scallions
- βto taste Salt

1. Soak the Xiaolongbao in warm water for 10 minutes to rehydrate.

2. In a pan, combine the mildly sour vinegar, soy sauce, and sugar. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.

3. Add the crumbled tofu to the pan and stir until the sauce has thickened.

4. Add the chopped scallions to the pan and stir-fry for 1 minute.

5. Steam the Xiaolongbao for 8-10 minutes, or until the dumplings are cooked through.

6. Serve the steamed Xiaolongbao with the mildly sour dipping sauce.
