Dutch Chicken Casserole
A hearty, comforting casserole made with chicken, vegetables, and a rich Dutch cheese sauce. Perfect for a chilly evening.

- ●1 medium, chopped onion
- ●2 stalks, chopped celery
- ●8 oz, sliced mushroom
- ●2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- ●2 tablespoons butter
- ●1 cup, shredded Dutch cheese
- ●1 cup chicken broth
- ●1/2 cup cream

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large skillet, sauté the chopped onion, celery, and mushroom in butter until the vegetables are tender.

Add the flour and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Slowly add the chicken broth and cream, whisking continuously to avoid lumps.

Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook until it thickens.

Stir in the shredded Dutch cheese until melted.
