French Onion Baguette Bowl
A French-inspired bowl filled with caramelized onions, gooey cheese, and crispy bread, perfect for a comforting meal.
Ingredients

- ●1 baguettecut into 1-inch cubes
- ●1 cup gruyère cheeseshredded
- ●to taste salt
- ●to taste black pepper
- ●1 tsp fresh thyme
- ●1/4 cup brazilian cheddarshredded

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add sliced onions and cook, stirring occasionally, for 20-25 minutes or until caramelized.

In a separate bowl, toss baguette cubes with salt, black pepper, and fresh thyme.

Add baguette mixture to the skillet with onions and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until bread is toasted.

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 5-7 minutes, until bread is crispy and golden brown.

Remove skillet from oven and top with shredded Gruyère cheese and Brazilian cheddar. Return to oven and bake for an additional 2-3 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
