Japanese-Style Ramen Noodle Soup
A hearty and comforting Japanese-inspired noodle soup made with a rich pork broth, topped with crispy tempura bits and green onions.
Ingredients
- β8 oz Ramen noodles
- β2 lbs Pork bones
- β2 tbsp Soy sauce
- β1 tsp Sesame oil
- β1 bunch Green onions
- β1 cup Tempura bits
- β1/4 cup Sliced scallions
- β1 cup Sliced mushrooms

In a large pot, combine pork bones and 4 cups of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour.

Strain the broth through a fine-mesh sieve into a clean pot, discarding the solids.

Add soy sauce and sesame oil to the broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.

Cook ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a pan, heat some sesame oil and cook sliced mushrooms until tender.

Add tempura bits to the pan and cook until crispy.

To assemble the soup, place cooked noodles in a bowl, then add hot broth and top with green onions, sliced scallions, and tempura bits.
