Saudi Arabian Chicken Shawarma
A traditional Saudi Arabian street food dish featuring juicy chicken and crispy flatbread.
Ingredients

- ●2 tablespoons Mouthwatering spice blendsee notes
- ●4-6 pieces Flatbreadpreferably day-old
- ●1 package Flaky phyllo dough (for wrapping)or substitute with large leaves
- ●1 cup Arabian flatbread sauce (for serving)see notes
- ●4-6 Lemon wedges (for serving)optional
- ●1/4 cup Chopped parsley (for garnish)optional

1. In a large bowl, combine the chicken breast, mouthwatering spice blend, salt, and pepper. Mix well to coat.

2. Let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.

3. Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

4. Grill the chicken for 5-6 minutes per side, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

5. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing it thinly against the grain.

6. Warm the flatbread by wrapping it in foil and heating it in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5 minutes.

7. Assemble the shawarma by slicing the grilled chicken and serving it in the warm flatbread with a dollop of Arabian flatbread sauce, a sprinkle of chopped parsley, and a squeeze of lemon juice.
