Smoky Jamaican Duck Skewers
Tender duck breast marinated in smoky Jamaican spices, grilled to perfection on skewers.
Ingredients
- β500g Duck breast2 breasts
- β2 tbsp Jamaican jerk seasoninghomemade or store-bought
- β1 tbsp Honey
- β2 tbsp Lime juice
- β1 tsp Vegetable oil
- β200g Pineapple chunks
- β100g Red onionthinly sliced
- β100g Bell pepperseeded and sliced
- β1 tsp Smoked paprika
- β1 tsp Garlic powder

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

In a small bowl, whisk together the Jamaican jerk seasoning, honey, lime juice, vegetable oil, smoked paprika, and garlic powder.

Place the duck breasts in a large ziplock bag or a shallow dish.

Pour the marinade over the duck breasts and coat evenly.

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

Thread the pineapple chunks, red onion, and bell pepper onto the skewers.

Remove the duck from the marinade, letting any excess liquid drip off.

Grill the duck for 5-6 minutes per side, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 63Β°C.

Grill the skewers for 2-3 minutes per side, or until the vegetables are tender.
