Japanese-Style Ham and Curry Bites
Crunchy outside, savory inside, these Japanese-inspired ham and curry bites are perfect as a snack or side dish.
Ingredients
- β8 oz parma ham
- β1 cup midnight curry
- β1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- β1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- β2 eggs
- β1/4 cup vegetable oil
- β2 tbsp soy sauce
- β1 tsp sugar
- β1 tsp sesame seeds

Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

In a bowl, mix together the flour, panko breadcrumbs, and a pinch of salt.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and a splash of water.

Cut the parma ham into small pieces and set aside.

Add the midnight curry to the flour mixture and stir until well combined.

Dip each piece of parma ham into the egg mixture, coating it completely, then roll it in the curry-flour mixture to coat.

Place the coated ham pieces on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Drizzle the vegetable oil over the ham pieces and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
