Irish Pepper Hash
A hearty, flavorful breakfast dish featuring crispy hash browns, succulent Irish sausage, and a hint of pepper.
Ingredients
- ●4 links Irish Sausagelook for Irish breakfast sausage
- ●2 cups, shredded Hash Brownsabout 1 large potato
- ●1 tsp, freshly ground Black Pepperadjust to taste
- ●1 medium, diced Nimble Onionabout 1/2 cup

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, toss the hash browns with 1/2 tsp salt until evenly coated.

Spread the hash browns out in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until crispy and golden brown, flipping halfway through.

While the hash browns are baking, cook the Irish sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat, breaking up with a spoon as it cooks.

Remove the cooked sausage from the skillet and set aside.

Add the diced onion to the same skillet and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the cooked hash browns to the skillet and stir to combine with the onion.

Return the cooked sausage to the skillet and stir to combine with the hash browns and onion.
