Ukrainian Chocolate Cake
A rich and decadent cake with a deep, complex flavor, made with high-quality dark chocolate and a hint of Ukrainian spice.
Ingredients

- β1 cup Dark chocolate chips
- β1 cup Granulated sugar
- β4 Large eggs
- β1 cup Sour cream
- β1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- β1 teaspoon Ukrainian spice blend
- β1/2 teaspoon Salt
- β1/2 cup Unsalted butter

Grease two 9-inch round cake pans and line the bottoms with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, and Ukrainian spice blend.

In a large mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to beat together the eggs and sour cream until smooth.

Melt the dark chocolate chips in a double boiler or in the microwave in 30-second increments, stirring between each interval until smooth.

Add the melted chocolate to the egg mixture and beat until well combined.

Add the flour mixture to the chocolate mixture and beat until just combined.

Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans and smooth the tops.
