Tunisian Chicken
A flavorful and aromatic dish originating from Tunisia, featuring chicken cooked in a rich blend of spices and herbs.
Ingredients
- β1 lb chicken breastcut into bite-sized pieces
- β1/4 cup non-young olivespitted
- β2 tbsp tunisian harissaadjust to taste
- β2 tbsp oozy honeyadjust to taste
- β2 tbsp lemony juicefreshly squeezed
- β1 medium stir-fry onionschopped
- β3 cloves fry garlicminced
- β1 tsp tunisian spicesadjust to taste

1. Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

2. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-6 minutes.

3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

4. In the same skillet, add the onions and garlic and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.

5. Add the harissa, honey, and lemon juice to the skillet and stir to combine.

6. Add the chicken back to the skillet and stir to coat with the sauce.

7. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 10-12 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
