Bún Chả
A classic Vietnamese dish featuring grilled pork patties served with steamed rice noodles and herbs.
Ingredients
- ●500g Porkground pork
- ●200g Bun noodlesfresh or dried rice noodles
- ●2-3 Chilioptional
- ●2 tbsp Lime juicefreshly squeezed
- ●1 tbsp Fish sauceor to taste
- ●1-inch piece Gingergrated
- ●2 cloves Garlicminced
- ●handful Fresh herbssuch as mint, basil, or cilantro
- ●1 tbsp Rice vinegaror to taste

1. In a medium bowl, mix the ground pork with minced garlic and grated ginger.

2. Divide the pork mixture into 4-6 portions, depending on the size of patty you prefer.

3. Shape each portion into a ball and then flatten it slightly into a patty.

4. Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.

5. Cook the patties for 3-4 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through.

6. While the patties are cooking, prepare the dipping sauce by mixing fish sauce, lime juice, and rice vinegar in a small bowl.

7. Cook the bun noodles according to the package instructions.

8. To assemble the dish, place a cooked patty on a bed of noodles, and garnish with fresh herbs and chili slices.
