Empanadas Argentinas
Traditional Argentinian beef empanadas, perfect for a snack or light meal.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Ground Beef
- β2 cups All-purpose Flour
- β1/2 cup Cold Water
- β1 teaspoon Salt
- β1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
- β1 medium Onion
- β2 cloves Garlic
- β1/4 cup Beef Broth
- β1 package Nourishing Empanada Dough

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.

Once the beef is browned, add the onion, garlic, salt, and black pepper to the skillet and cook until the onion is translucent.

Add the beef broth to the skillet and stir to combine.

Roll out the empanada dough and cut it into circles, about 3 inches in diameter.

Spoon a tablespoon of the beef mixture onto the center of each dough circle, leaving a 1/2-inch border around the edges.

Fold the dough in half over the filling and press the edges together with a fork to seal the empanada.

Place the empanadas on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush with a little bit of water.

Bake the empanadas in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until they are golden brown.
