Brazilian Bean Wrap
A flavorful and nutritious wrap filled with sautéed Brazilian-style beans, crunchy sprouts, and wrapped in a nourishing tortilla.
Ingredients
- ●1 cup Black beans, cookedCanned or cooked from scratch
- ●4 oz Brazilian-style sausage, slicedOptional, omit for vegetarian version
- ●1/2 cup Cabbage, shreddedOptional
- ●1 Nourishing whole wheat tortillaLarge or split into smaller wraps
- ●1/4 cup Edible sproutsRadish or alfalfa work well
- ●2 tbsp Chopped fresh cilantroOptional

1. Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat.

2. Sauté the sliced sausage (if using) until browned, about 3-4 minutes.

3. Add the cooked black beans, cabbage (if using), and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

4. Warm the tortilla by wrapping it in a damp paper towel and microwaving for 20-30 seconds.

5. Assemble the wrap by spooning the bean mixture onto the center of the tortilla.

6. Top with edible sprouts and chopped cilantro (if using).

7. Fold the bottom edge of the tortilla up over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll the wrap up tightly.
