Spicy Myeongnan Roe Dumplings
A K-Fusion twist on traditional dumplings, featuring garlicky noodles and a nourishing Myeongnan roe filling.
Ingredients
- β20 pieces Wonton Wrappers
- β1 package Myeongnan RoeAvailable at most Korean markets
- β1 cup Garlicky NoodlesHomemade or store-bought
- β1/4 cup Green OnionChopped
- β2 tablespoons Sesame OilFor pan-frying
- β1 tablespoon Soy SauceOptional
- β1 teaspoon Korean Chili FlakesOptional

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine Myeongnan roe, green onion, and sesame oil. Mix well.

2. Lay wonton wrappers on a clean surface.

3. Place a tablespoon of the Myeongnan roe mixture in the center of each wrapper.

4. Dip your finger in water and run it along the edges of the wrapper.

5. Fold the wrapper into a triangle by bringing the two opposite corners together to form a point.

6. Press the edges together to seal the dumpling.

7. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.

8. In a large pan or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil over medium-high heat.

9. Add the dumplings to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.

10. Serve with noodles, soy sauce, and Korean chili flakes (if using).
