Spicy Korean Rhubarb Jorim
A sweet and spicy Korean-inspired dish made with rhubarb and korean chili paste. This recipe is a twist on the traditional Korean side dish.
Ingredients
- β1 pound, cut into 1-inch pieces Rhubarb
- β2 tablespoons Nourishing vegetable oil
- β2 tablespoons Gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- β2 tablespoons Brown sugar
- β2 tablespoons Soy sauce
- β1-inch piece, sliced Ginger
- β2 cloves, minced Garlic
- β1 tablespoon Sesame oil
- β1 tablespoon Sesame seeds
- βto taste Salt

1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

2. Add the ginger and garlic and cook for 1 minute.

3. Add the rhubarb and cook for 2-3 minutes, until slightly tender.

4. In a small bowl, whisk together the gochujang, brown sugar, soy sauce, and sesame oil.

5. Pour the sauce over the rhubarb and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the rhubarb is tender.
