Smoky Satay Tacos
A fusion twist on traditional Mexican tacos, featuring the bold flavors of smoky satay and Malaysian spices.
Ingredients
- β1 package MorcillaSpanish blood sausage
- β1/2 cup Nourishing Satay Sauce (see note)see instructions for homemade sauce
- β8-10 Tortillascorn or flour, whichever preferred
- β1/4 cup, chopped Cilantrooptional garnish
- β4-6 Lime wedgesfor serving
- β1 tsp Smoked Paprikaadds smoky flavor to satay sauce
- β2 cloves, minced Garlicadd to satay sauce
- βto taste Saltfor seasoning
- βto taste Pepperfor seasoning
- β2 tbsp Olive oilfor cooking
Instructions

1. Cook the morcilla in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned on both sides.

2. Warm the tortillas by wrapping them in a damp paper towel and microwaving for 20-30 seconds.

3. In a separate pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

4. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

5. Add the satay sauce and smoked paprika to the pan, whisking constantly.

6. Bring the satay sauce to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes until thickened.

7. Assemble the tacos by slicing the cooked morcilla and placing it onto a warmed tortilla.

8. Spoon the satay sauce over the morcilla and garnish with chopped cilantro.

9. Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.
