Spicy Algerian Chicken Tagine
A flavorful and spicy North African inspired dish made with chicken, kimchi, and a blend of Moroccan spices.
Ingredients
- β1 1/2 pounds Boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- β1 cup Kimchi
- β2 tablespoons Olive oil
- β1 medium Onion
- β3 cloves Garlic
- β2 inches Ginger
- β2 teaspoons Cumin
- β1 teaspoon Coriander
- β1/2 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
- β1/2 teaspoon Salt
- β1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
- β1/4 cup Fresh parsley

Heat oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Add chicken and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

Remove chicken and set aside.

Add onion, garlic, and ginger to pot and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add kimchi, cumin, coriander, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper to pot. Cook for 1 minute.

Add browned chicken back to pot and stir to combine.

Cover pot and transfer to oven.

Bake at 375Β°F (190Β°C) for 25-30 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.

Garnish with parsley and serve over couscous or rice.
