Creamy American Pasta Bake
A comforting pasta dish with a rich and creamy sauce, perfect for a weeknight dinner. This bake is easy to make and feeds a crowd.

- β2 tbsp butterunsalted
- β2 tsp all-purpose flour
- β1 cup milk
- β8 oz cream cheesesoftened
- β1/2 cup parmesan cheesegrated
- β1 tsp salt
- β1/4 tsp black pepper

Preheat the oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.

Add the flour and whisk to combine. Cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.

Slowly pour in the milk, whisking constantly to avoid lumps. Bring the mixture to a simmer.

Reduce the heat to low and add the cream cheese. Stir until melted and smooth.
