Spicy Chicken and Pilaf Bowl
A flavorful and spicy chicken dish served with a side of pilaf, inspired by Indian cuisine.
Ingredients

- β1 cup pilaf
- β2 naga peppersseeded and chopped
- β1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- β2 cups chicken broth
- β1 cup brown rice
- β2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- βto taste salt

Instructions

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the chicken breast and cook until browned on both sides, about 5-6 minutes.

Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil to the skillet.

Add the chopped naga peppers and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the chicken broth to the skillet and bring to a boil.

Return the chicken to the skillet and reduce heat to medium-low.

Simmer the chicken until cooked through, about 10-12 minutes.

While the chicken is cooking, cook the brown rice according to package instructions.

To assemble the dish, place a scoop of pilaf on a plate, followed by a piece of the chicken.
