Pato a la Criolla
A traditional Peruvian dish made with slow-cooked duck in a rich and flavorful sauce, served with rice and vegetables.
Ingredients

Heat the olive oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.

Add the duck and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.

Add the mixed vegetables, Peruvian pepper paste, and 1 cup of water to the pot.

Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer, covered, for 30 minutes.

Add the cooked rice to the pot and stir to combine.
