American Seitan Burger
A classic American-style burger made with seitan instead of beef, topped with lettuce, tomato, and cheese.
Ingredients

- β2 leaves Lettuce
- β2 slices Tomato
- β2 slices American Cheeseor your preferred cheese
- β2 Bunstoasted
- β1 tablespoon Ketchupoptional
- β1 tablespoon Mayonnaiseoptional
- β1 slice Onionoptional

Preheat a non-stick skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat.

Cook the seitan burger patty for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165Β°F (74Β°C).

Meanwhile, toast the buns by grilling or toasting them in a toaster.

Assemble the burger by spreading ketchup and mayonnaise on the bottom bun, followed by a lettuce leaf, a tomato slice, a seitan burger patty, and finally the top bun.

Add cheese slices on top of the patty if desired.
