Ethiopian Lamb Stew

Ingredients
- β1.5 lbs lamb shouldercut into 2-inch pieces
- β2 tbsp berbere spicemake sure to toast before using for best flavor
- β1 large onionchopped
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β2 inches gingersliced
- β2 tbsp tomato paste
- β2 cups beef broth
- β1 cup water

Heat oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Sear lamb pieces until browned, then set aside.

Reduce heat to medium and cook onion, garlic, and ginger until softened.
