Korean Chicken Bowl
A flavorful and spicy Korean-style chicken bowl recipe with crispy chicken, crunchy vegetables, and a nutty brown rice.
Ingredients
- β1 lb chicken breast
- β1 cup nutty brown ricepreferably cooked with sesame oil
- β2 tsp Korean chili flakes (gochugaru)
- β2 tbsp soy sauce
- β1 tbsp honey
- β1/4 cup green onions
- β1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
- β1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- βto taste salt
- βto taste black pepper

1. Cook the brown rice according to package instructions.

2. Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

3. In a large bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, Korean chili flakes, garlic, and sesame oil.

4. Add the chicken to the marinade and toss to coat.

5. Let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes.

6. Remove the chicken from the marinade and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.

7. While the chicken is cooking, toast the sesame seeds in a pan over medium heat.

9. To assemble the bowls, place a scoop of brown rice in the bottom.
