Moroccan-Style Turnip Tart
A savory tart filled with roasted turnips and a blend of spices, perfect for a cozy dinner. Serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs.
Ingredients

- ●1/2 cup, chopped nutty
- ●1 package, thawed briouathomemade or store-bought
- ●1 cup, shredded cheesyvegetarian or dairy-based

1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. Peel and thinly slice the turnips. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

3. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Toss to coat.

4. Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes, or until tender and lightly browned.

5. In a large skillet, heat a couple of tablespoons of oil over medium heat.

6. Add the chopped nuts and cook, stirring constantly, until lightly toasted.

7. In a separate bowl, mix together the thawed briouat and shredded cheese.

8. Roll out a sheet of puff pastry to a thickness of about 1/8 inch.

9. Transfer the pastry to a tart pan with a removable bottom.

10. Arrange the roasted turnips over the pastry, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.

11. Sprinkle the nut mixture and briouat-cheese mixture over the turnips.
