Croatian Nut Stir Fry
A vegan twist on traditional Croatian stir fries, featuring toasted nuts and crispy vegetables.
Ingredients
- β2 tablespoons Croatian nut oilUse a neutral-tasting oil
- β1 Crisp bell pepperSliced into thin strips
- β2 medium nutty carrotsSliced into thin strips
- β1 medium Stir-fry onionsSliced into thin rings
- βto taste Croatian black pepper
- β1 cup crunchy walnutsChopped
- β1 tablespoon nutritional yeastOptional for cheesy flavor
Instructions

Heat the Croatian nut oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the sliced bell pepper and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until tender and crisp.

Add the sliced carrots and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until tender.

Add the sliced onions and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until translucent.
