Syrian Chicken Tagine
A hearty and flavorful North African stew made with chicken, spices, and dried fruits.

- β1 1/2 pounds chicken thighs
- β1 cup nutty couscous
- β1/4 cup dark brown sugar
- β2 tablespoons syrian tagine spice blend
- β2 cups chicken broth
- β1/2 cup dried apricots
- β1/4 cup almonds
- β2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

Heat oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high.

Brown chicken on all sides, about 5 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.

Add spice blend and cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute.

Add broth, sugar, apricots, and almonds. Stir to combine.
