Ethiopian Turkey Croustade
A flavorful and crispy pastry stuffed with tender turkey and spices, inspired by Ethiopian cuisine.

- β2 teaspoons Ethiopian spice blend
- β1 cup, cubed Dense bread
- β1 sheet Croute
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black pepper
- β4 tablespoons Unsalted butter, melted

Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

In a large bowl, combine the cubed dense bread and melted butter, mixing well.

Add the Ethiopian spice blend, salt, and black pepper to the bread mixture, stirring to combine.

In a separate bowl, shred the cooked turkey breast.

Add the shredded turkey to the bread mixture and stir until well combined.

Roll out the croute to a thickness of 1/4 inch (6 mm).

Transfer the croute to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Spoon the turkey and bread mixture onto the center of the croute, leaving a 1/2 inch (1 cm) border around the edges.
