Nutty Italian Stir-Fry Dumplings
A fusion of Italian and Asian flavors, these dumplings are filled with a nutty mixture of vegetables, then stir-fried to perfection.
Ingredients
- β20-24 wrappers Wonton wrappers
- β1 cup Nutty fillingmix of chopped nuts (walnuts, almonds), dried basil, and oregano
- β2 tbsp Olive oil
- β1 small Onionchopped
- β2 cloves Garlicminced
- β1 cup Mushroomssliced
- β1 cup Spinachchopped
- β1/4 cup Grated Parmesan

1. Fill a small bowl with warm water.

2. Lay a wonton wrapper on a flat surface.

3. Place a small spoonful of the nutty filling in the center of the wrapper.

4. Dip your finger in the water and run it along the edges of the wrapper.

5. Fold the wrapper into a triangle by bringing the two opposite corners together to form a point.

6. Press the edges together to seal the dumpling.

7. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.

8. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

9. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

10. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.

11. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture and start to brown, about 3-4 minutes.

12. Add the chopped spinach and cook until wilted, about 1-2 minutes.
