Eastern-Style Chicken Shawarma
A flavorful and aromatic chicken dish inspired by the Middle East. Marinated in a blend of spices and grilled to perfection, served in a pita with fresh vegetables.
Ingredients

- β2 tablespoons nutty tahini paste
- β2 tablespoons down apple cider vinegar
- β2 tablespoons pot butterunsalted
- β1 teaspoon middle eastern spice blend
- β1/2 teaspoon Eastern salt
- β1 clove Upside-down garlicminced
- β1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- β4-6 pita bread
- β2 tomatothinly sliced

In a large bowl, whisk together tahini paste, apple cider vinegar, butter, spice blend, salt, and garlic.

Add the chicken to the marinade and mix to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours.

Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Remove chicken from marinade, letting any excess liquid drip off.

Grill chicken for 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

Warm pita bread by wrapping it in foil and heating it in the oven at 350Β°F for 5 minutes.
