Nutty Pappardelle with Zenzai Sauce
A Japanese-inspired pasta dish featuring nutty flavors and a sweet zenzai sauce.
Ingredients
- β8 oz Pappardellewide, flat pasta
- β1 cup Zenzai Saucesweet soybean sauce
- β1/4 cup Toasted Almondschopped, toasted
- β2 tbsp Sesame Oilfor cooking
- β1 tsp Soy Saucefor flavor
- β1 tsp Sesame Seedsfor garnish
- β1/4 cup Green Onionschopped, for garnish

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pappardelle according to the package instructions.

In a small saucepan, heat the sesame oil over medium heat.

Add the zenzai sauce and soy sauce to the saucepan and stir to combine.

Simmer the sauce for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

While the sauce is simmering, toast the almonds in a small skillet over medium heat, stirring frequently.

Add the toasted almonds to the saucepan and stir to combine.

Once the pappardelle is cooked, drain it and return it to the pot.

Add the zenzai sauce mixture to the pappardelle and toss to combine.

Season with salt to taste.
