Croatian Pudding with Nutty Crunch
A traditional Croatian dessert with a crunchy nutty topping, perfect for a sweet treat.
Ingredients
- β1 cup All-purpose flourfor the pudding
- β1/2 cup Sugarfor the pudding
- β2 cups Milkfor the pudding
- β2 tablespoons Butterfor the pudding
- β1/2 cup Salted almondschopped, for the topping
- β2 tablespoons Brown sugarfor the topping

Preheat the oven to 350Β°F (180Β°C).

In a medium saucepan, combine the flour, sugar, and salt. Gradually add in the milk, whisking until smooth.

Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and comes to a boil.

Remove from heat and stir in the butter until melted.

Pour the pudding mixture into individual serving cups.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the pudding is set.

While the pudding is baking, mix together the chopped almonds and brown sugar in a small bowl.

Once the pudding is done, sprinkle the nutty topping over the top of each serving.
