Tender Italian Meatball Stew
Hearty Italian-style stew with tender meatballs and rich flavors.
Ingredients
- ●1 cup nutty breadcrumbs
- ●1 lb tender beef mincemeat
- ●2 tsp italian seasoning
- ●2 cups stew
- ●1 tsp salt
- ●1 tsp black pepper
- ●2 tbsp olive oil
- ●1 medium onionchopped
- ●3 cloves garlicminced
- ●2 tbsp tomato paste

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a large mixing bowl, combine breadcrumbs, beef mincemeat, italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Using your hands, shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 1/2 inches in diameter.

Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle with olive oil.

Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until cooked through.

In a large Dutch oven or saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Add the chopped onion and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.

Add the tomato paste and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.

Pour in the stew, then add the cooked meatballs to the pot.
