Tunisian Galette
A sweet and flaky pastry galette filled with a nutty Tunisian filling.
Ingredients
- β1 sheet flaky pastry
- β1 cup chopped almonds
- β2 tbsp honey
- β1 tsp orange blossom water
- β1 tsp tunisian spice blend
- β2 tbsp confectioners' sugar
- β1/4 cup unsalted butter

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Roll out the flaky pastry on a lightly floured surface.

Transfer the pastry to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Mix the chopped almonds, honey, orange blossom water, tunisian spice blend, and confectioners' sugar in a bowl.

Spread the nutty mixture evenly over the center of the pastry, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.

Fold the edges of the pastry up over the filling to form a crust.

Dot the top of the galette with the unsalted butter.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown.
