Slovakian Fried Dumplings
A traditional Slovakian dish made with fried dough balls served with a side of dumplings.
Ingredients

- β1/2 cup oil
- β friedfor dusting
- β4-6 dumplings
Instructions

Knead the dough for 5 minutes until it becomes smooth.

Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces.

Roll each piece into a ball and flatten it slightly into a disk shape.

Heat the oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.

Fry the dough disks until they are golden brown and puffed up.

Using a slotted spoon, remove the fried dough from the oil and place it on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Serve the fried dough with dumplings on the side.
