Argentinian Empanada Bites
A twist on traditional empanadas, these bite-sized treats are filled with savory ham and parma cheese, perfect for snacking or as a side dish.
Ingredients
- β1 package Argentinian Empanada Dough
- β1 cup, diced Ham
- β1/2 cup, shredded Parma Cheese
- β1 tbsp Oily Olive Oil
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black Pepper
- βfor garnish Optional: Chopped Fresh Cilantro

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Roll out empanada dough to a thickness of about 1/8 inch.

Cut out circles of dough using a cookie cutter or the rim of a glass.

In a small bowl, mix together diced ham, shredded parma cheese, a drizzle of olive oil, salt, and black pepper.

Place a small spoonful of the ham and cheese mixture in the center of each dough circle.

Fold the dough in half to form a half-circle shape, and press the edges together to seal the empanada.

Brush the tops of the empanadas with a little bit of water, and use a fork to crimp the edges.

Place the empanadas on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving about 1 inch of space between each empanada.
