American-Style Chicken Fried Rice
A classic Chinese-American dish, this recipe combines cooked rice, chicken, and vegetables in a savory sauce.
Ingredients

- β1 pound, diced Chicken breast
- β2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
- β1/4 cup, chopped Scallions
- β1, diced Cooked egg
- β2 tablespoons Soy sauce
- β1 tablespoon Oyster sauce

- βto taste Pepper

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the diced chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.

Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil to the skillet.

Add the chopped scallions and cook until they start to soften, about 1 minute.

Push the scallions to one side of the skillet.

Add a little more oil if necessary, then add the diced egg and scramble it until cooked through.

Mix the egg with the scallions.
