Beef Borscht Stir Fry
A Chinese twist on the traditional Ukrainian borscht dish, featuring beef and a sweet and sour stir fry sauce.
Ingredients
- β8 oz Old Fashioned Borscht Mix
- β1 lb Beefsirloin or flank steak
- β2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- β2 tsp Gingergrated
- β1 tsp Garlicminced
- β2 tbsp Soy Sauce
- β1 tbsp Hoisin Sauce
- β1 tsp Sugar
- β1 tsp Rice Vinegar

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil to the skillet.

Add the grated ginger and minced garlic and stir-fry until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Add the Old Fashioned Borscht Mix and stir-fry until the vegetables are tender, about 3-4 minutes.

Return the beef to the skillet and stir in the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sugar, and rice vinegar.

Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until the sauce has thickened.

Serve the Beef Borscht Stir Fry hot over steamed rice.
